Electricity Man

Thai_NgocEver woke up grumpy from a bad night’s sleep? Think about how upset you would be foregoing sleep for 40 years! Yep, you read correctly. That’s exactly how long it’s been since Vietnamese farmer Thai Ngoc has gotten some shuteye.

Born in 1942 in Vietnam, Thai Ngoc claims to have not slept since 1973 after a bout with fever. However, this man still finds the strength and energy to maintain his farm and haul not one but two, 110lb bags of cattle feed over 2miles, EVERY DAY.

So is Thai Ngoc a medical miracle? Medication, folk remedies, you name it, and this man is still incapable of catching some Z’s. He has even tried drinking alcohol with no success. That’s when it really dawned on us. If a bunch of grandpa’s ole’ cough medicine won’t do the trick, then Thai Ngoc must be superhuman.

You find us someone who doesn’t hit the sack after a 30 rack of PBR and a few shots of Jack Daniels, and our team will feature them too. Just kidding, we don’t encourage irresponsible things like that. Seriously, don’t do it.

Michael Lotito- aka “Mr Eats All” RIP (1950-2007)

MrEatsEverythingMeet Michael Lotito AKA “Mr Eats All.” This man has eaten 18 bicycles, 15 shopping carts, 7 Televisions, 6 chandeliers, 400m of steel chain, a coffin, 2 beds, 1 pair of skis, and a Cessna 150 aircraft!

Born in 1950, “Mr Eats All” is a French entertainer most renown for consuming indigestible products such as metal, steel, aluminum, glass, rubber, and washing his meals down with lots of mineral oil and water. Lotito began eating unusual materials when he was 16 years old. Fortunately for his colon, doctors found Lotito’s stomach lining to be much more thick than normal, making it possible for sharp metal objects to pass through his system without any damage. In fact, Lotito claimed to not have any health issues whatsoever as a result of his bizarre diet.

It is estimated that Lotito ingested 9 tons of metal from the time he was born until the time that he died. He would do this in a rather meticulous way by breaking down the objects into smaller, more manageable pieces. In addition and given much of these materials were poisonous, Lotito would ration his material intake to 2.2lbs a day. As an example, it took him nearly two years to scarf down a Cessna 150 airplane, chomping away more and more everyday. And that wasn’t even his entree.
